Curlene Bell started her law enforcement career with the Jackson Police Department (JPD) in 2000. In 2005, Curlene was promoted to Detective with JPD. As a respected Detective known for her integrity and work ethic, Curlene was selected by the FBI to join the FBI Task Force. Curlene also served on the FBI's Crisis Negotiation Team and the FBI's Crisis Management Team. Curlene also has a wealth of experience working on public corruption cases.
Curlene has won numerous honors and awards over the course of her career, and she also is a certified crisis intervention instructor.
Curlene joined the CPCC as an investigator in 2022. Curlene assists attorneys and mitigation specialists in developing an investigative plan for the case and locating and interviewing potential witnesses.
