Beth Windham has been practicing law since 2003 after receiving her law degree from the University of Mississippi. Prior to working for CPCC, she served for eight years as a staff attorney to Judge Jon Mark Weathers with the Mississippi 12th Circuit Court Judicial District, Forrest and Perry Counties. She assisted the trial court with over 40 criminal felony trials and with petitions for post conviction relief and petitions for writ of habeas corpus.
Beth also spent 12 years as a civil litigator primarily at the firm of Aultman, Tyner & Ruffin in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
She has a bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi. Beth’s family is from the Mississippi Gulf Coast but she grew up in Kenya and South Africa. She is firmly committed to fighting for the Constitutional rights of indigent persons in Mississippi and in criminal justice reform.
